Valerie has two children, a 6 month old named Noah and a 3 year old named Cora. She enjoys reading and scrapbooking, and considers TiVo a friend! Valerie stays busy with balancing her time with Cora’s princess ballet lessons and caring for Noah.

Valerie attended James Madison University and earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Right out of college she began working in Human Resources. During her career she worked with both large corporations and also helped grow a start-up company from 20 employees to over 300 employees.

Now, as part of the Sitters.com All-Mom Editorial Team, Valerie brings her professional experience to help ensure that Sitters.com remains the most trustworthy source for finding care providers.
